Rezgha Abu Rujeila, 70 year-old, holds in the yard of the Khan Younis Nasser hospital, Sanad her grandson, who was injured during an attack on the village of Khuza'a , Gaza Strip; July 24, 2014. Many residents took refuge in Nasser as Khuza'a came under intense shelling and bombings from the Israeli army 2 days ago. As people were fleeing they were also attacked, and dozens got killed and many injured. The figures are likely to rise as ambulances had problems accessing the area. Bodies are still in the streets, according to the inhabitants.

The  massive displacement continues: at least 200,000 Palestinians in Gaza flew their homes, but it is difficult to evaluate the number as many people stay with friends and relatives.

I went to three hospitals yesterday. From Khan Yunis to Beit Hanoun: death everywhere.
Nasser hospital was crowed with residents of Khuza'a,; a village east of Khan Yunis, which came under intense attack by Israel on Tuesday causing panic amidst the population. On Wednesday ICRC managed to evacuate 150 civilians, mainly women and children from the town. On Thursday the attacks continue. At least 21 persons were killed but the number is expected to rise as the residents say bodies were in the streets and the ambulances could not take them. Residents were also attacked while they were fleeing their homes, even if they were wearing a white flag. Ambulances which tried to reach the area also came under attack. Witnesses say the houses were burned, an indication that white phosphorus might have been used. Israeli soldiers also arrested some residents, and used some as human shields. We cannot know the magnitude of the attack as the area is still out of reach, but the accounts by residents were horrific and indicate that grave war crimes were committed. On Thursday the injured and dead kept pouring into the hospital which did not have enough place. Some bodies were put in the refrigerated storage area of a store.

Others hospitals came also under intense pressure after an Israeli attack on Beit Hanoun elementary school, Jabalyia. The school was being used as a shelter by 800 people.
The attack killed at least 17 and injured more than 200 of the displaced civilians. As-Shifa hospital received some of the injuries as Kamal Edwan Hospital, the nearest hospital to Beit Hanoun was overwhelmed by the flow of casualties.
Kamal Edwan Hospital was overwhelmed. Injured children everywhere, also women and men. Doctors rushing. People screaming. Many children were in shock, and actually were not making a sound, which was even more scary and disturbing. They gazed away, as they were not here anymore.
The emergency room was full, as well as the morgue.

This was another dreadful day in Gaza. It seems that there is no limit anymore.
